Ice Cream Has Arrived In Time for Our One Year Anniversary!

We are excited to announce that we will now be offering Pittsford Farms Dairy Ice Cream at our shop! Starting Thursday, June 30th you'll be able to have your cupcake and ice cream or even just ice cream if you so choose! Pittsford Farms Dairy makes all of their ice cream in house from scratch and is the perfect pairing with our cupcake bar. Join us on Saturday July 2nd for a FREE scoop of ice cream with a cupcake purchase in celebration of our one year anniversary! It's been an amazing year and we'd love to thank all of our wonderful customers for your continued support! We'd love to see you all on Saturday!
New Summer Hours!!

New summer hours have finally arrived! Spread the word and tell your friends that we've extended our hours for your convenience! New hours are: Tuesday through Friday 11am - 7:30pm and Saturday 11am - 6pm. We also now have outdoor seating and beverages to quench your cupcake thirst. Stop by and grab some cupcakes on your way home or come back after dinner for some scrumptious dessert!

Recently my friends over at Dollop Gourmet asked me to stop by the United Way and photograph the unveiling of a new service they offer. The Custom Cupcake Bar. The United Way asked Dollop to come in for an employee recognition day to reward their employees with cupcakes at lunchtime.

Heather Saffer always had a sweet tooth and her love for sweets turned into a business. Dollop Gourmet Cupcake Creations opened earlier this month, but business is already taking off. In Saffer's mind, a little cake has big possibilities. She has loved eating cupcakes her entire life.

The cupcake bar features several different cake flavors to choose from, including daily choices like vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet and rotating flavors like banana and champagne. Then comes the choice of a filling, with options like fluff, raspberry, lemon, apple pie, and more. Step three literally puts the icing on the cake with several choices ranging from cream cheese to mint chocolate to buttercream. And finally you can top off your decadent treat with a choice of items like sprinkles, chocolate chips, peanut butter cups, or M&Ms.

Inspired by the cupcake business models in larger cities, Dollop will feature a cupcake bar where customers can customize their mini-cakes by choosing a combination of cake flavor, filling, frosting and topping.

The Village of Penfield will be a little sweeter after this weekend. A new gourmet cupcake bakery called Dollop Bakery will open this Saturday July 3. Dollop will offer customizable cupcake orders for special occasions and catered events which will involve individualized designs and logo creations.
